Welcome to the 2023-24 School Year!

As Kingsbury's new principal, I am excited to introduce our school theme for the 2023-2024 school year: "One Team, One Dream".  My hope is that all members of this community will embrace this theme as a promise to be unified and stand together as a community so that Kingsbury continues to be a place where every student can thrive and reach for their full potential. My educational philosophy centers around the belief that education is a collaborative effort involving students, parents, teachers, and the broader community.  I strongly value open and transparent communication, and I am dedicated to maintaining a strong relationship with our educational partners. Together, we will work towards creating a nurturing atmosphere that empowers our students to reach their full potential and become well-rounded individuals.  Throughout my career, I have developed a deep passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Kingsbury Elementary, our focus will be on fostering academic excellence, promoting a culture of respect and kindness, and embracing diversity in all its forms. I support the PBIS skills our students are taught daily.  At Kingsbury, our students make a commitment to our school-wide expectations to:  Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Kind.  I believe in the importance of providing a well-rounded education that not only focuses on academic achievement but also emphasizes character development, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
