Hello and Welcome to 5th grade!

2022-2023 will be my 16th year of teaching, my 8th year in 5th grade. I love this age group; there is so much going on neurologically, emotionally, and socially. Our curriculum is fast-paced and challenging! I am living my dream and thankful to be part of the Crafton community.

Communication is very important for us to be a successful team. The number one way to communicate is through Classdojo, the next is email. Please make sure you are checking messages and class story weekly. If class dojo does not work for you, please reach out and let me know what does.

I have taught Special Education and General Education. I have certificates to teach English Language Learners and Children with Autism. My Masters of Ed. is in Special Education. I have three children of my own and look forward to meeting your family. 

As you help support your child's education, don't forget how fast it flies by! Hike, read, cook together! Build forts and ride bikes! In a blink, we will be watching them walk across the stage at 5th-grade promotion!
