Welcome to Kindergarten! I have been teaching since 1998. I quickly fell in love with the challenge of helping all students reach their full potential.  I was trained as a Reading Recovery teacher in Yucaipa in 1999 and I returned to the University of Redlands in 2006 to obtain my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. At that same time, I received my Reading Specialist Credential. This prompted me to try out a Reading Coach position for Redlands Unified. After two years, I realized that kindergarten is truly where my heart lies.

I have been married to my incredible husband for 18 years. We have two daughters that are former Crafton Cougars. Both attend Redlands High Schools. I also have two highly energetic fur babies. We love to go camping and kayaking together.
