Welcome to Kingsbury Elementary, home of the Bears.
Kingsbury Elementary was established in 1887 and is rich in history and tradition. Kingsbury is where the Pledge of Allegiance was first recited by school children.
At Kingsbury our goal is to meet the needs of every one of our students. Special Education services are offered to identified students in the Specialized Academic Instruction and Speech and Language Programs. We also have the privilege of being the district hub for students with behavior intervention needs. Kingsbury Bears have access to reading and math interventions during our MTSS time (Mult-tiered system of supports) daily. Our ELOP / intervention staff works hard to serve kindergarten through fifth grade. ELOP Teachers work with students, pushing into classrooms, during the school day and provide exciting, engaging creative lessons during our after-school program.
Our PTA members also assist our school community in the classroom and by organizing exciting events. Some of our annual events include Movie Night, Trunk or Treating, Family Nights, Fun Run, and so much more!
Kingsbury Elementary is a silver PBIS School. Our students pledge to be respectful, responsible, safe and kind.
"Kingsbury School Song"
There is a school in Redland’s Town
Named Kingsbury, it’s the best around
The teachers are nice,
The kid’s are bright.
We do our work and we do it right.
The best school in the land
We love our school for it shines like a jewel
Because we care, it will always be there.
