Positive Behavior Intervention and Support is a framework for establishing the social culture and behavioral supports needed for a school to be a learning environment for all students. The five expectations are Pride, Respect, Accountability, Integrity and Self Esteem.
Behavioral statement of purpose: Beattie Middle School is a community committed to creating a positive school environment that educates the mind and heart.
Lisa Bruich, Principal
I have worked for the Redlands Unified School District for 17 years. I spent time working with students and families at Moore Middle School, Redlands East Valley High School, and Cope Middle School prior to joining the Beattie team. I have taught English grades 8-12, worked as a REVHS assistant principal, ASB advisor, and cheerleading coach over the years. I recently served as Cope Middle School's Principal for the past four years. I attended the University of Redlands where I earned my MA in Education: Counseling and my BA in English from Cal State Fullerton. I have a wonderful husband, two amazing daughters, and two huggable dogs. Like many parents, I consider myself the family "Uber driver" getting my kids to their activities and running errands after school and on the weekends. I enjoy relaxing with a book and I love spending time with my family and friends. I am proud and honored to serve Beattie as the principal and to be part of the RUSD family.
