Mrs. Amanda Chea

My name is Mrs. Chea and I am very excited to be your child’s 4th-grade teacher! It’s going to be a great year full of learning, adventures, and fun!

EDUCATION

In 2017, I graduated from California State University of San Bernardino with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies along with my Multiple Subject Instruction Credential. In 2020, I received my Master of Science in Education with a concentration in teaching from California Baptist University.

PHILOSOPHY

In my classroom, I believe it is important for students to feel safe and respected. We will work all year long to establish a room filled with friendships, pride, trust and high self-esteem. I believe it is crucial to create and preserve a positive and respectful learning environment. Establishing and maintaining a kind, friendly and nurturing environment allows students to achieve both personal and academic success. I embrace the task of teaching young minds with enthusiasm and passion. I believe that creating a partnership among students, parents, and myself is an essential component to teaching. It is my aspiration to motivate students with engaging activities, build character and foster self-confidence with compassion, positivity, and encouragement. It is my goal that my love of teaching generates a love of learning among my students so that their school years are a successful journey and 4th grade is a memorable experience!
