In response to the need for the effective implementation of Common Core, RUSD worked with a wide variety of district stakeholders to identify the need for teacher training on the rigor and pedagogy required of Common Core as well as the new curriculum.  The result was comprehensive professional development for K-12 teachers around Math, Reading, Writing, and ELA supported through the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).
