Course Overview:
Environmental science is an interdisciplinary science; it embraces a wide variety of topics from different areas of study. The curriculum draws upon various scientific disciplines including:
- Earth Systems and Resources
- The Living World
- Population
- Land and Water Use
- Energy Resources and Consumption
- Pollution
- Global Change
- Though rigorous exploration, students will interpret and apply these topics in real world situations. Students will be required to complete projects designed to increase their social and political awareness of local, state, and federal environmental issues. In addition, the course will provide students with the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world.Students will complete laboratory and/or field investigations a minimum of once per week. Some field investigations will require students work independently for better understanding of important concepts.

Assignments will be posted on this page, but if you have to submit something to me, I believe you should be able to post it on the Google Classrrom link: k3e7pqi . My pages are a work in process. Google Classroom is still new to me.
