RUSD Volunteer Overview

  • Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Redlands Unified School District. Recent legislation and Board Policy govern the steps necessary for an individual to volunteer in either a school setting or with an activity or athletic program. Listed below are the variety of volunteer opportunities and the required paperwork that must be completed before you can engage in any volunteer activity. Please select the appropriate volunteer category below and work with the appropriate school site in the completion of all necessary paperwork.     This is required for: 

    • Elementary School Volunteer
    • Secondary School Volunteer
    • Day Fieldtrip Chaperone
    • Day Fieldtrip Chaperone Driver*
    • Overnight Activity Chaperone**

    *Driver Certification Form Required
    **DOJ Fingerprints Required

    University Student (Classroom Observation)

    Coordinate with the Redlands Unified School District Human Resources Office

    Volunteer Coach (Activities and Athletics)

    Work with the appropriate school site and the Human Resources Office for the completion of all necessary paperwork
