The AVID Senior Seminar will focus on revising the personal statement essay and getting college applications completed.  A senior's FAFSA application will be submitted in October and we will dedicate much of our classroom time completing our monthly checklists, which include the completion and submission of an essay-based scholarships each month.  Seniors will be also be taking on a more active leadership role and will be responsible for leading parent workshops and other events.
