• Library Assistants:
Library Assistants are a group of friendly and responsible student volunteers who have been trained to help with a variety of library duties. Assistants not only aid with circulation (checking books in and out), but they also assist students in finding books, they re-shelve returned books, and they always lend a hand in making the library function smoothly and efficiently. Applications are available twice a year (at the beginning of each semester), and are offered in limited quantities on a first come, first served basis. Students are scheduled to assist before school or during the lunch hours. Great library assistants are courteous, cooperative, and gleaming examples of excellent library behavior, they pay attention to detail, they enjoy helping people, and they typically love books almost as much as we do. :)
