    Hello!

    My name is Alexcess Zamora and I am teaching English 10 and coaching Speech and Debate. 

    Growing up, my schooling was always very important to me so I made the best decision of my life and changed my major early on in college from pre-law to education! After four wonderful years at the University of La Verne, I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in English. The semester before I graduated college, I made a life changing decision and moved to China to teach Art and English. After being there for a bit, I knew in my heart I wanted to come home and teach in the states. One very long plane ride and two years of hard work later, I graduated with my M.A. in Teaching Single Subjects with an emphasis in English and began my journey in teaching high school! Some of my greatest moments in school came from reading and writing about things I am passionate about so I hope I can encourage you to embark on that same wonderful journey in my class.
