I am very proud to say I have been teaching at Franklin Elementary for 20 years!  Although I have taught other grades, Kindergarten is where my heart is.  My background prior to teaching, is working with children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities as a social worker.  I see teaching as a complete circle each day, as I often learn as much from the students as I hope they learn from me.  The adage is true that it takes a village to raise a child, and I am always happy when our wonderful families are involved with their children and our school.
