Title 1 Academic Achievement School (2011, 2012 and 2016)
J & B is ranked #5 Most Diverse Public Elementary Schools in San Bernardino County. We embrace our diversity and welcome all students within our classrooms with several supportive programs designed to increase academic achievement. These programs include inclusive GATE certified teachers, Co-Teaching and math intervention. Pull-out/push-in academic support and Mild-Moderate Special Education classrooms also offer specialized support. We are unique in the district in that we have a Medical Therapy Unit located at the end of our campus. Although none of the J&B students are seen here, children are seen here for occupational therapy, medical visits and for wheelchair maintenance. Our campus also has two San Bernardino County Moderate-Severe classes. These students integrate with J&B students after school for chorus, during recess, and at lunch.
Our PTA is an integral part of what makes Judson & Brown Elementary a very special place to learn, play and make memories. They support our classroom programs and organize our memory making events such as the father/daughter and mother/son dances, field days, craft days, jog a thons, the Family Fall Festival and more!
We are the proud Jaguars of Redlands Unified and are invested in building a strong, rich learning community!
Principal Todd Rossi
Principal’s Corner
I am excited to introduce myself as the Principal at Judson & Brown Elementary School. It is a great privilege to join this dedicated and accomplished staff. I have entered my 24th year in public education and have served in various positions to support student learning, specifically in language, reading, and writing development. Literacy skills are a passion of mine. Teaching a child to read is an amazing gift to give! I am committed to helping ALL students grow academically, socially, and emotionally through building strong home, school, and community partnerships. Together through this unprecedented period of time, we can make a difference in our student’s lives. I appreciate the opportunity to serve your family in this important role. I am excited to bring my collective knowledge and experiences to this wonderful community. I look forward to getting to know you and your children better in the days and months ahead.
