Hello! My name is Mrs. Wood, and I am delighted to be a teacher at Kingsbury Elementary. I currently teach a Transitional Kindergarten class. 

This is my 30th year teaching. I have taught preschool through 2nd grade. I have a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders. I am trained as both a speech therapist and a  classroom teacher.

I love teaching and truly believe that my most important job is to help your child to develop a love of learning and an enthusiasm for school. While your child is in my care, I will give them a strong foundation and all the support they need to be the best person and learner they can be!
