6th "SOAR" to Succeed (Students Organized and Ready to Succeed) is an elective class that 6th graders will rotate through and get all of the basics of AVID without being in the AVID program.  The skills that students will learn in this 18-day elective course will support them in all of their core classes.  This will be a broad spectrum course that will touch on many of the topics listed above in the AVID Program, but not all.  Students will come away from this class with skills that will make them a more effective Cope Middle School Eagle!
