Title IX School Climate Survey for Grades 6-12

(This message was originally shared with all middle and high school parents/guardians via ParentSquare on November 6, 2024).

In compliance with the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) directives, Redlands Unified School District has developed an anonymous student survey to evaluate the climate at each District school with respect to sex-based harassment and to learn about students’ perceptions of the district’s response to these issues. The information your student submits through the survey will help us provide a safe and equitable learning environment so all students are comfortable at school and can succeed.

The survey will be administered twice this year to students in grades 6-12 in their classrooms during the week of December 2-6, 2024, and again, utilizing the same questions, in the second semester of this school year (unless a parent/guardian chooses to opt their student out of participation).

***Please note***

  • The deadline to opt your child in or out of taking the survey was Wednesday, November 13 at 11:59PM.
  • If you did not choose to OPT OUT your student, they will automatically receive an email in their student account email with a link to the survey on the date chosen by the school site. If you chose to opt your child out of taking the survey, please inform him/her of your decision.
  • The OPT OUT window is currently closed for this cycle but will be available for future surveys.

If you have any questions or need further information regarding the Title IX School Climate Survey, please feel free to contact:
