LCAP Advisory Committee Information

The LCAP Advisory Committee monitors the progress of the actions and services outlined in the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), and makes recommendations to our School Board on next steps for serving students.  Your voice is important in making sure we are meeting the needs of all students, especially the needs of our English learners, foster youth, homeless, and low-income students.

The committee includes parents/guardians, district staff, and community members, with an emphasis on those who represent English learners, low-income, foster youth and homeless youth. Members are asked to offer feedback and input on progress made toward meeting our LCAP goals. The committee meets approximately once a month in the evenings from January through May. Members are asked to serve for two years, and are expected to maintain regular attendance, actively participate, contribute ideas and suggestions, and work collaboratively and respectfully with the other committee members.
