LCAP Development and Community Engagement

The image displays information about upcoming community meetings for the Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP), including dates, times, locations, and Zoom links.

Redlands Unified School District is committed to meaningful engagement with all educational partners in the development of the 2026–27 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). This year, the district will hold LCAP Development Community Meetings in place of a formal LCAP Advisory Committee. The Superintendent’s Advisory Committee will serve as the official Parent Advisory Committee for required consultation.

Your voice is essential in ensuring that RUSD continues to meet the needs of all students—especially English learners, foster youth, homeless youth, and low-income students. Throughout the year, educational partners will have multiple opportunities to learn about LCAP priorities, hear updates on programs supported by LCAP funding, and provide input that informs the development of the plan.

Community Engagement Opportunities

  • December 2025: A districtwide ThoughtExchange conversation will open to gather early input from educational partners.

  • January 2026: An LCAP Overview Meeting (via Zoom) will provide a public overview of the LCAP, including state requirements and district goals.

  • February 2026: Two LCAP Development Community Meetings will share program overviews and support community discussion and feedback.

  • March 2026: A Final LCAP Development Meeting will focus on collecting community input. A ThoughtExchange Survey will also be launched at this time.
