Teacher Candidates participating in Induction are provided with a “Reflective Coach” who works with the complete the program. These Reflective Coaches are experienced teachers who are trained in CSTP and FACT.
PAR (Peer Assistance and Review)
The Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) program is a collaborative effort between the Redlands Unified School District and the Redlands Teachers Association. It is funded by the state of California’s Peer Assistance and Review program. The program became a part of the 2000-2001 Collective Bargaining Agreement and is the result of the in-depth preparation and development on the part of the District and RTA.
The PAR Program is founded on the philosophy that it is in the best interest of students to provide positive assistance for new teachers and other teachers who show a need for assistance in their classroom performances. The parties have agreed to commit time and resources to allow teachers to work with teacher colleagues through a peer assistance approach.
