Mrs. Angie Merideth

Welcome to a brand new school year! My name is Mrs. Merideth. I have 22 years of experience as a classroom teacher. While most of my teaching career has focused on middle school instruction, the last 4 years were here at Arroyo Verde. I have experience teaching a wide array of subjects and skill levels. I believe it is important to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. I challenge my students to be their personal best and provide the necessary support for them to do this.

Redlands Unified is an AVID school district. That means all classes, at every grade level, are preparing students for college. This year, Arroyo's focus in on organization and focused note-taking. To be ready for this, we are asking all students to be prepared with their binders, planners, and school supplies each day. See the list for necessary school supplies. we also encourage students to wear college/ career path shirts on Thursdays. These colleges and career paths (think military or tech school) shirts are chosen by the student.

Arroyo Verde Classrooms are no longer adopting specific colleges. Instead, we are moving to a schoolwide house system which I am excited to share with you at Back to School Night. Students will be separated into their house at random and will be provided a t-shirt to wear on Fridays. There is no need for you to purchase any shirts.

  • Please have the following supplies at school on Monday. Aug. 13:

    • 3-ring binder - 2"
    • Loose leaf fill paper
    • 5 - subject dividers (with pockets)
    • Binder pencil holder
    • Pencils and hand-held sharpener (or lead for mechanical)
    • pens
    • Highlighters

    Optional:

    • scissors, colors (crayons, pencils, markers), glue stick, ruler

I have the supplies listed optional. However, they tend to get beat up quickly. Students generally prefer their own.

I recommend you stock up on fill paper now while the prices are low.

Please contact me if you are unable to get any of these supplies.
