My name is Chelsey Feierfeil and I teach Special Education. I started my teaching career as an Instructional Para Professional in 2010 and moved into teaching in 2015. From the first time I stepped foot in the classroom, I knew I was ready for a career change. I get to go to work every day and feel like I am not working at all because I absolutely love what I do. I have taught the K-2 and 3-5 SDC classes at Crafton and now teach the SAI push-in/pull-out program.

I teach because I love it. I enjoy the day to day challenges that come with teaching in special education. I get the privilege every day of working with amazing children who see life differently. If I am lucky they will share a little bit of their world with me. I want my students to know that they are cared for and someone believes in them, and that they are capable of achieving amazing things in life.
