Mrs. Astorga

     Mrs. Astorga has been working for Redlands Unified School District since 1999. She worked as an instructional assistant for five years at the elementary and high school levels. Then she moved on to the Language Assessment Center for the district. Here she was the testing coordinator for district language assessment of English Language Learners. She began teaching in 2007 and has taught first grade, fourth grade, and adult education. 

     Mrs. Astorga graduated from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Social Science in 2007. She quickly began the teaching credential program at the U of R and completed it the following year. She also holds a master's degree in Education.

     She has been married for nearly 30 years and has two children. Both of her children attended schools in Redlands. Therefore, Mrs. Astorga has experience as a parent and teacher in the district. She is a firm believer in education and will work hard to ensure academic progress for all of her students.
