I have taught first grade for the last 12 years in the Rialto Unified School District.  This is my first year in the Redlands Unified School District and I'm so excited to be here!  I am married and have a 4 year old son Matteo.  I love teaching first grade!  It is a very challenging grade, but also very rewarding.  The growth that you will see in your students from the beginning of the year to the end will be amazing.  The most important thing is to read with your child every day!  My hope is to cultivate in them a love of learning and reading.  My personal philosophy is that children are like sponges.  I hold high expectations of my students, but know that I am fair and kind.  I have learned that with encouragement and support children will rise to meet these expectations.
