Dear Mission Mustang Familes,

       Welcome to another wonderful school year! My name is Mrs. Nelson and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Mission Elementary School. I started my first two years of teaching in 2nd grade, and after 11 years of teaching 3rd grade, I am beyond over the moon excited to be back teaching 2nd grade (where it all started) as a Mission Mustang! I have my B.A in Sociology from U.C. Riverside, my teaching credential from Cal Poly Pomona, and my M.A in Teaching from U.S.C (Go Trojans!). I currently live in Rancho Cucamonga, but proudly serve the Redlands Unified School District.

      I am very excited to have your child in my class! We will be creating some wonderful learning experiences and memories this school year. 2nd grade is a year of many growths and I look forward to seeing your child apply him/herself to his/her fullest potential.
