Hello, I am Mr. Swift and I teach 7th grade English Language Arts at Beattie Middle School.  This is my 20th year teaching in the Redlands Unified School District.  I have been at Beattie since it opened in 2003.  I have a Bachelor's degree in English-Literature and a single subject teaching credential from Cal State San Bernardino. I also have a Master's degree in Education: School Counseling from the University of Redlands. Other duties I have held at Beattie are English department head, Boys Volleyball coach, Girls Softball coach, and 7th grade Intramural Sports advisor. Teaching middle school is challenging, fun, rewarding, and a thrill a minute.  I wouldn't want any other job in the world!
