Welcome to your first year of middle school!

This is my 24th year teaching (22nd year at Clement teaching 6th grade math and science).  I have a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Master of Arts in Education, specializing in Best Practices.  I enjoy spending time with family and coaching soccer. I have a 9-year-old daughter who is in 4th grade and a 14-year-old son who just started high school.

6th grade math starts off by building on skills learned in 5th grade.  We then transition into learning new skills and starting to think algebraically 2nd semester.  In science, we will learn about topics such as cells, body systems, weather, energy, and alternative resources.
