Miss Courtney Thaler
From as early as I can remember I always wanted to be a teacher. During high school I worked at my former middle school developing programs for troubled youth. It was during that time that I knew I was made to be a teacher. In 2012 I graduated with my BA in Liberal Studies from California State University Sacramento. After graduation I decided to move to Southern California to attend Hope International University. In 2014 I graduated with my Masters in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I accepted a fourth grade teaching position at Hardy Brown College Preparatory in San Bernardino. By the end of my first year I had developed a tutoring program and I became the third through eighth grade lead teacher. My second year I was asked to teach fifth grade and I enjoyed being able to have my scholars for a second year. In 2016 I accepted the fourth grade position at Franklin Elementary School. Franklin staff, parents, and students have welcomed me with open arms. In a technology driven district my classroom has evolved into a 21st Century Learning Environment. If you would like to observe your scholar's learning experience please contact me and I'll be happy to arrange a time for you!
