Welcome to Specialized Academic Instruction ~ SAI! It is my passion and pleasure to support students with academic needs due to various learning disabilities. In an effort to accommodate my students, the learning environment is driven by instruction that draws from all modalities of learning:  visual, auditory, kinesthetic. By collaborating with the general education teachers, implementing CORE curriculum, and building student confidence, my main objective is to close the academic gap that exists between student ability and student achievement. Every effort is made to create an environment in which students steer and own their education. My paraprofessional, Natasha, and I collaborate daily to our students' ever-changing needs.
