Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Brad Breier

Brief Educational Background:

I am a southern California native.  I went to school in Oregon at Willamette University.  I graduated from Willamette with a History degree with a minor in Economics in 2015.  I came back home knowing that I wanted to teach and was accepted at Chapman University's graduate school.  I finished my credential in January of 2017 and my masters in May of 2017.  This will be my first year in the Redlands School District.

Outside of School:

I played baseball in college and played some professional baseball after college in New York.  I am a huge Dodgers fan (Giants fans are not welcome: Just Kidding).  I have also picked up the sport of golf since my baseball career has come to an end.  I also enjoy the beach, the snow and essentially being outside.

Teaching Philosophy:

My teaching style is a very simple approach.  I believe that if the students are enjoying their time in the classroom that they will retain more information.  That being said I am very active walking around the classroom.  I enjoy the interaction with the students.  I try to do as many group work activities that allow students to become very involved in the class.  I also believe in working on the students writing and public speaking skills.  I think they are valuable tools for my students to have for when they get into upper levels of education and the real world.

I look forward to meeting all of you!
