My name is Fernando Ramirez and I am a PE teacher at Citrus Valley High School in Redlands, CA. My core focus is guiding students in attaining life-long health and wellness through the principles of human movement and general fitness. 

In my classes, I implement a proven system that provides students opportunities to work independently, with a partner, or in a small group. The structure of this model has proven to increase engagement while promoting positive and meaningful interactions. Embedded in my instruction are fundamental performance assessments that track and objectively measure student developement. Overall, students engaged in this curriculum will attain the conceptual elements of fitness and the fundamental skills that promote lifelong health and wellness.
