Ms. Ruthemma Rush

Ms. Ruthemma Rush

Ms. Rush hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She has lived in six states and various cities in France.  She has been educating students since 2003 when she began teaching French at UCLA as a graduate student. She speaks Spanish, French, German and studied Latin and Old French.  She has been running a foreign language after-school program in the Inland Empire for 10 years.  She substitute taught in San Bernardino for 4 years while she worked on her credential and Masters in Special Education.  She began teaching at Bryn Mawr last year and is very happy to be back permanently.  

Ms. Rush has two children of her own. Her son is an honors student at Moore Middle School and her daughter attends Norton Science & Language Academy in San Bernardino.  Ms. Rush enjoys performing at the Redlands Bowl and other theatrical venues in the summer. She volunteers for the Redlands Bowl Association and the Redlands Conservancy in her spare time.
