The School Site Council (SSC) has the ongoing responsibility to plan, monitor and review the TK-5 school-based program. Members of the SSC help review and critique the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), school policies, budget, and areas of schoolwide effectiveness. At Franklin Elementary School, the SSC has been instrumental in allocating school funds to meet school goals and affect policy.
