Dear Highland Grove Families,
It is an honor to be joining the Highland Grove family and Redlands Unified School District. I am excited to be a part of this amazing team and look forward to working with all of the students, families, and staff in our school community.
My wife and I have lived in the Inland Empire for most of our lives and we both currently work in the Redlands/Highland area. I am a graduate of CSUSB and have many family and friends that live in this great community. We have two young children who are in primary grades so it is an honor to be serving at an elementary school to support other students in their education and lives.
Before becoming the Assistant Principal at Highland Grove Elementary, I served as the Site Administrator at a charter school in Colton for three and a half years. Prior to that, I was a teacher for the Oro Grande School District for eight and a half years. I have had the pleasure of teaching multiple grade levels and subjects during this time. I began my career in education in Beaumont Unified as a student teacher and substitute teacher. I completed my Bachelor's degree and multiple subject teaching credential at CSUSB, and then later my Master's degree and administrative services credential in Educational Leadership and Administration from Brandman University.
My goal as an assistant principal and school leader is to support and inspire those around me to be better. I understand how important our education system and schools are for our youth and future, so I believe that children deserve to learn and have someone who invests time in them while motivating them in their academics and lives.
I look forward to getting to know you all and learn from everyone around me. I am dedicated to growing as an educational leader and appreciate everyone's support as we continue to improve our school together.
