Greetings! I am Mr. Zamanis, and I currenty teach English 9, English 9 Honors and Mock Trial. This will be my first year at Redlands East Valley High School but my ninth year teaching. I earned my Bachelors’ degrees in English and Liberal Studies with departmental honors from the University of Redlands and possess a single subject teaching credential. I live near Lake Arrowhead where I like to wrestle bears, hide in trees, and read. 

I believe that it is my obligation as an educator, through effective classroom management, compassion, and rigor to prepare your student for high school and beyond.

It is my hope that your student has a productive and educational year, and that the expectations and assignments your student completes during this course will ensure that he or she is prepared for future academic success. 

Our day-to-day lessons and course materials can be found on Google Classroom, which your student is enrolled in. If you would like access to our Google Classroom so that you may better monitor our coursework, please email at dylan_zamanis@redlands.k12.ca.us. I will add you as your student’s guardian and this will give you access to our Google Classroom.

Additionally, please be aware that grades are made available to all parents and guardians via Aeries. Grades are updated on a weekly basis.
