• Orangewood students are encouraged to join the Engineering Technology courses if they have an interest in engineering, technology, physics, math, or building things.  Being enrolled in one of the Engineering Technology courses qualifies you to be on the OHS Engineering Team.  If you enjoy competition with other schools, the OHS Engineering Team is one place you can do that.

Each year, we will be competing in Skills USA events, Purdue University’s national Chain Reaction contest, and the annual Rube Goldberg Machine contest.  If you are into building things, learning engineering principles, technology, physics, and math, the OHS Engineering Team is the place for you.

This page will be updated as contests approach.  If you have any questions or are just curious about joining, contact Mr. Stewart in room 9 or email at matthew_stewart@redlands.k12.ca.us

The Rube Goldberg Machine Contest will be taking place virtually this year.  Registration opens September 15th 2021.  If you are interested, please come talk to Mr. Stewart in Room 9.
