Principal's Message

    Grizzly Parents and Families,

Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year!

The school year is off to a great start. It has been great to welcome new and existing students back on campus after the summer. As I had stated at the Back-to-School-Night, our goals for this school year are to improve attendance and dig into our academics. We need our students here at school every day to learn. One of the ways we are working on our goals is by getting the students connected with evening and after-school activities. We had our first family event and truly felt our families and students were feeling the connection. We are currently planning with our staff, PTA, and teachers to continue to bring activities to the campus to continue connectedness.

This school year, we will continue to develop our Grizzly Great expectations. We held our first expectations assembly for all grade levels. This is where students learn about the expectations for the class, the playground, the restrooms, and on campus. We are working this year to provide students with assemblies to help reinforce the expectations the teachers and staff have for your students. As the year progresses, students will be asked to help us with creating videos about following the expectations on campus.

Students are rewarded monthly by being entered into a drawing and receiving a prize. Below are the character traits and expectations of what it truly means to be Grizzly GREAT. Please encourage your students to follow these character traits at school and in the community.

    • G: growth mindset
    • R: respectful
    • E: engaged
    • A: act responsibly
    • T: treat others with kindness

I look forward to a great year of watching your students grow academically, socially and developing their character.

    Sincerely,

    Amy Pry, Principal
