We Will be joining a nationwide celebration of reading!

Students around the country will be celebrating reading on March 1st (Dr. Seuss's birthday is March 2nd)! We invite you to come to read one of your favorite picture books to our students this week. If you are interested in reading to your child's class, please contact your child's teacher.
Celebrate a different Dr. Seuss book every day!
Monday - (February 25)- Fox in Socks - wear different or crazy shoes and/or socks.
Tuesday- (February 26)- Horton Hears a Who!- Do a random act of kindness for someone at school. There will be a table at first and lunch recesses where students can write a kind note to someone at school.
Wednesday- (February 27)- Wacky Wednesday- wear mismatched or backwards clothing.
Thursday- (February 28)- I Can Read with My Eyes Shut!- wear a shirt that others can read.
Friday- (March 1)- I Am Not Going to Get Up Today!- wear your pajamas, so you can be "comfy" while volunteer readers come to share some of their favorite books!
*please remember to dress within the school dress code (for example, no open-toed shoes).
