Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!
The first day of school is always special: the renewed energy, bright smiles, and sense of belonging echo throughout our campuses. On behalf of our entire leadership team, I am thrilled to begin this journey with you.
At Redlands Unified, students remain at the center of all we do. This year, I look forward to visiting classrooms, attending arts and athletics events, and seeing our students shine through visual and performing arts, career technical education (CTE) pathways, student-led clubs, academic competitions, and more. Our goal is to inspire every student to reach their fullest potential .
We offer more ways than ever for students to succeed. Our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) provides free before- or after-school, summer, and intersession learning for TK-6 students, emphasizing academic, social-emotional, and enrichment experiences in partnership with family and community. For families seeking flexible or blended learning pathways, our Redlands eAcademy and RISE independent-study options offer rigorous K-12 instruction and before-you-know-it, graduation!
Graduation remains a defining moment, and we celebrate it across all our high schools and adult education programs, including Orangewood, Citrus Valley, Redlands High, Redlands East Valley, eAcademy, and Redlands Adult School . Whether graduating directly from high school or through adult school pathways, our students cross that stage having earned community pride and the promise of tomorrow.
Our educators, support staff, families, and partners are deeply committed to fostering inclusive, safe, and engaging environments where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Looking ahead, I’m honored to introduce EMPOWER, which is our districtwide Portrait of a Graduate initiative, launching next week. EMPOWER embodies the values we believe every Redlands Unified student should develop. Keep an eye out for our special video next week and ongoing messages throughout the year.
Together, let’s make this a year of purpose, growth, and connection. We believe in every student’s potential, and we are committed to empowering them to become the best version of themselves.
