REDLANDS, Calif. – Redlands Unified School District has been notified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBCSD) that an employee at Redlands East Valley High School was arrested on charges related to child molestation.

As part of the District’s uniform process for investigations, this employee has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the Sheriff’s Department investigation.

According to SBCSD officials, the victim is not a student belonging to the Redlands Unified School District. Authorities have identified the victim as a family member.

The District will continue to aid and cooperate fully with the Sheriff’s Department. At this time, we would like to thank SBCSD for their communication, direction and support in the handling of this case.
