TheCCSS Integrated Pathway: Mathematics IIprogram is a complete set of materials built from the ground up to align 100% to the CCSS Integrated Pathway curriculum and to employ the 8 Standards of Mathematical Practice (SMP). General topics include Expressions and Equations and Similarity, Right Triangle Trigonometry, and Proof. More specifically, students will:
interpret structure in expressions
create and solve quadratic equations in one variable
create and graph rational equations
solve systems of equations
identify line segments
define and apply similarity
prove similarity
prove theorems about lines and angles
prove theorems about triangles
The topics of study are aligned with the Common Core State Standards.

Supplies: NOTEBOOK PAPER, pencils, erasers
Grades: Quarter and semester grades will be based on accumulated points according to the following scale.

Rules and Expectations:
Respect: In alignment with the REVWAY schoolwide expectations, students will treat themselves and others with dignity by respecting the learning environment. Students will honor classroom time by committing to meeting the daily learning objective.
No food or drink: Water is acceptable.
Cell Phones: Cell phones must be kept out of sight. Earbuds/earphones must be kept out of sight. The first time a cell phone and/or earbuds/earphones are taken out in class, the student will receive a warning. Each time after that, the cell phone and/or earbuds/earphones are subject to confiscation.
Restroom: Students will be provided with restroom passes for emergencies. However, if the privilege is abused, students will be required to use the restroom during passing period only.
Tardies: Students are required to be in their assigned seat when the bell rings. If a student is not in his/her assigned seat, the student will be counted as tardy.
No cheating or plagiarism: This class is designed to encourage students to learn to think on their own. Cheating on assessments or copying written materials from others is not acceptable. This behavior will result in consequences including a failing grade on the assessment or assignment.
Discipline Policy:
In order to provide students with the excellent educational climate they deserve, all students must follow the rules and expectations of Redlands East Valley High School, Redlands Unified School District, and the Integrated Math Ia class. Appropriate behavior is recognized on an individual, group, and class basis. However, if a student chooses not to follow the rules and expectations, consequences will result as outlined below based on the severity and frequency of the behavior.
Consequences:
If a student chooses not to follow the rules of the Integrated Math IIa class and Redlands East Valley, the following may result.
1. Verbal Warning
2. Parent Telephone Call/Conference
3. Counselor Referral
4. Administration Referral
5. Behavior Contract
6. Suspension/Expulsion
*Please note: there are some infractions that result in an immediate referral at the discretion of the teacher and/or counselor.
